Dear Friends,
For nearly six years I had been treating a persistent foot problem as if it were simply joint pain. Then about six months ago something changed.
My foot began to go numb, my toes developed a pinkish-red colour, and sharp shooting pains would travel through the sole, often leaving me limping.
It was no longer just discomfort — the pattern had changed.
I recognised the symptoms almost immediately as neuropathy, and that moment became the turning point. Instead of guessing, I began researching deeply into nerve health, circulation, and nutritional support.
A Personal Discovery
One of the turning points in my research came from listening to the educational work of Barbara O’Neill.
Barbara often spoke about her husband’s struggle with neuropathy. Conventional medications did little to restore nerve health, so she began searching for natural ways to support healing.
Through her lectures she highlighted several key nutrients commonly associated with nerve health — particularly turmeric, L-carnitine, and alpha-lipoic acid.
For me, that was not the end of the story — it was the beginning.
From there I continued researching and observing how nerves respond to circulation and nutritional support. This led me to discover benfotiamine, a highly absorbable form of Thiamine vitamin B1 that supports nerve metabolism, and kencur (sand ginger), a traditional warming root known for encouraging circulation.
Barbara opened the door — and I kept walking — gradually building a broader approach that combines modern nutritional science with traditional herbal wisdom.
